Taylor Swift lives 10 houses away from Colin Cowherd’s house in Rhode Island with permanent private security.

The sports broadcaster, Colin Cowherd met with a wearing accident recently, when a young couple with a dog burglarized his house, in Westerly, Rhode Island on Friday night. But that’s not the whole story, he also hinted at a possible connection with pop superstar, Taylor Swift. Well, the story is just as interesting as it sounds.

In a recent episode of his podcast, The Colin Cowherd Podcast with Volume Sports, Cowherd opened up about his recent home invasion by a couple, with the “Cruel Summer” singer’s house nearby. When he pulled into his driveway, he found a young woman with a dog waiting in her car, who appeared to be waiting for someone. It turned out her boyfriend was inside Cowherd’s house.

Cowherd shed light on the incident:

I asked this young girl, she rolls her window down and her dog starts barking, I said, ‘Can I ask why you’re here?’ and she pauses, ‘Well I was just wondering if your house is for sale?’ and I’m like, ‘Oh I’m getting robbed.’ Her boyfriend’s in the house. So I call 911 and give them the address.

Cowherb believes the burglars to be Swift’s fans, who mistaken his house for her, who apparently lives 10 houses away in Rhode Island with permanent private security. He backed his speculation saying this isn’t the first time any such incident happened in the neighbourhood. Though she is beloved by billions of fans across the world, she is also stalked and burglarized by numerous.

The sports broadcaster said:

There’s been stories about if multiple people being around the property. I mean Taylor Swift is the biggest star in the world, theee biggest star. Beautiful, talented.

Colin Cowherd’s first instinct was to protect his wife from the burglars

The moment sports anchor Cowherd realized the intent of the couple, who trespassed his house upon mistaking it for Swift’s, his first instinct was to protect his wife, sitting next to him in the car.

He said on the Volume Sports podcast:

It really did make me think, ‘Oh my God,’ because this young lady had no idea who I was. I mean, she doesn’t care. But I got my wife in the car. I got to protect my wife.
