JASON Kelce broke down in tears during his retirement press conference.

The 36-year-old former NFL center was emotional during his retirement press conference with his family members, including his brother Travis Kelce, in attendance on Monday.

Kelce broke into tears immediately with a black tank top shirt and both of his arms showing.He was silent for the first minute and sobbing as the seven-time Pro Bowler had a prepared statement.Jason emotionally thanked his family, including his wife Kylie, the fans of Eagles and the team’s owner Jeffrey Lurie.During the statement, the Super Bowl champion talked about his journey, saying “I had no stars… I had to earn everything. I had no idea what hard work was yet.”

After 36 minutes of reading out his statement about his life, Jason announced his retirement to the world.

The 36-year-old’s announcement comes after telling his Eagles teammates after the team’s Wild Card playoff loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that it would be his last game as an NFL center.

The playoff loss came after Philadelphia suffered a regular season collpase, losing five of its last six games after having a 10-1 start.

A 2011 sixth-round draft pick out of Cincinnati, Jason earned six All-Pro selections and seven Pro Bowls.

He won Super Bowl LII in 2018.

Jason appeared in last season’s Super Bowl when the Eagles lost 38-35 to Travis’ Chiefs in Glendale, Arizona.

After the Eagles were eliminated in the 2023 playoffs, Jason became a social media sensation for his celebrations during and after Travis’ playoff games.

During one of the playoff games, in the divisional round, Jason went shirtless and chugged beers from a suite with music icon Taylor Swift, Travis’ girlfriend.

The 36-year-old ended his career with the most consecutive starts at 157, an Eagles franchise record.
