THE course of true love never did run smooth, especially when it comes to Love Island stars Tyrique Hyde, 24 and Ella Thomas, 23 whose on again off again romance has kept their fans on tenterhooks.

But now it seems the fiery couple may be back together, just a week after what seemed like a bitter breakup, as a compelling clue has surfaced on social media.

The lovebirds appear to have posted the same photo of a black Louis Vuitton luggage bag, which seems to suggest that they’ve taken a short break together.

Celebrity news website The Shade Borough were first to connect the dots. They said: “It looks like Ella and Tyrique from Love Island are back together and going on holiday after posting the same luggage trolley on socials.”

One fan wrote: “How did they post the same picture I don’t get it. I guess they want people to know that they’re back on.”

But not long after their identical post, the couple were then quick to delete the evidence, which of course didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

One wrote: “Yes I did actually see these stories lol, but Ty’s was deleted after like 5 minutes and Ella deleted hers after The Shade Borough posted this.”

Semi-professional footballer Tyrique and Ella who finished third on Love Island in 2023 have come through a tumultuous time of late.

The couple broke up in November after seven months together, which was then followed by a reconciliation, until last week when they broke up again.

In what appeared to be a final goodbye, the pair wiped all evidence of their union from social media, strongly suggesting that there is no way back.

At the time a source close to the couple told The Sun: “They have tried really hard but just been having constant arguments.

“At the end of day they want different things and it’s too hard to make it work. They are saying it’s over for good this time and there is no going back.”

Meanwhile Ella Thomas has revealed that she’s attending the BRITS in London this weekend, showing off a wrapped up box with the caption: “Dress for the BRITS secured.’

But whether Tyrique will accompany her, after their rumoured whistlestop trip, is anyone’s guess.
