The Boston Celtics shook the NBA world on Sunday with unreal lead over the Warriors.

NBA fans always get excited to some particular teams compete against one another. The Golden State Warriors played against the Boston Celtics at the TD Garden. Being the 2022 NBA championship finalists, fans expected an exciting matchup. But how the game started was not anticipated, and shook the entire NBA world.
While the game started at a normal pace, the whole scenario changed in the second half of the first quarter. The Celtics dominated the Warriors by scoring double points in the first. Going into the second quarter, the Celtics were leading 44-22. The game started going into the Celtics’ way as the team had a whopping 44-point lead at half-time.
Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were stars of the show for scoring 56 points in the first half of the game. Brown scored 19 points in the first quarter alone. The team made 15 of 24 attempted 3-pointers in the first two quarters. This also marked the largest half-time lead in the Celtics’ franchise history.
The score was 82-38 at the half-time. After that, the Warriors’ loss was inevitable. No player on the Warriors team scored 20 or more points. Only three players scored in double digits. The game was ended with a score of 140-88. This 52-point win marked the 11th in the Celtics’ winning streak. The team is currently the best in the league, across Eastern and Western Conference.

After defeating the Celtics in the 2022 NBA finals, fans were amazed at the Warriors’ performance on Sunday. The team has stars like Stephen Curry and four-time champions. Despite Celtic’s amazing performance this season, they fell short in front of the Warriors in December.

It is rare to see a good team losing by such a high margin. Being recent champions and having some of the best and most experienced players on the team, the loss did not sit well with fans. The NBA world could not believe the numbers from the game and shared their reactions on X. Fans heavily trolled the Warriors on social media.
After struggling in this season, Warriors recently started to take wins. This loss broke the Warriors’ eight-road game winning streak. The Celtics are the first seed in the Eastern Conference standings and have a record of 48-12, currently the best in the NBA.
